Bali 2011 - Ubud, 19 December
Are we ever here in the rainy season - some huge long storms - but certainly happy to be here. Even though the main part of Ubud has become a big, messy and noisy city....we have a guest house you can only walk to (if the water doesn't overwhelm the path!) with a really lovely view.
The gate entrances to our guest house, just off a little walking path, have these figures, with new flowers every day.
Breakfasts come with the guest house - tea with a fruit plate and toast, and omelettes or 'pancakes'.
Our room was originally on the ground floor, with a full blast view of greenery, but we've since moved to the second floor for views of the rice fields.
